Micron Electronics Inc. cut a deal Tuesday that will put kiosks for ordering personal computers in 357 Best Buy Co. Inc. stores.

BP Amoco PLC has agreed to pay $4.7 billion for one of Britain’s oldest oil companies, Burmah Castrol PLC, in hope of bolstering its share of the world market for lubricants.

The European Commission on Tuesday rejected Volvo’s planned $6.9 billion merger with rival Swedish truck and bus maker Scania as anticompetitive. The commission said the merger “would have caused serious competition concerns by creating dominant positions” in several sectors, including the heavy truck and bus markets in Sweden, Denmark, Norway, Finland and Ireland.

AT&T Corp. announced Tuesday that its shareholders approved the company’s proposal to create a tracking stock that will reflect the performance of AT&T’s mobile phone division and other wireless businesses.
