Army Announces Enlistees From Area

Ryan D. Mackey, son of Barbara Bethke of Post Falls and Douglas Stewart of Spokane, has enlisted in the Army’s delayed entry program as a military policeman, and will depart for basic training at Fort Leonard Wood, Mo., in August.

Mackey qualifies for a $3,000 cash incentive based on test scores and enlistment choice. He is a former Post Falls High School student.

Jesse H. Bronson, son of Jake Bronson and Karen Watson of Rathdrum, has enlisted in the army as an information systems operator-analyst and has departed for basic training at Fort Benning, Ga.

Bronson, who is a 1999 Lakeland High School graduate, joined the Army for money, travel and adventure, and will be stationed in Korea upon completion of training.

David E. See, a 1997 Coeur d’Alene High School graduate, has joined the Army’s delayed entry program as a combat engineer and will arrive for basic training at Fort Leonard Wood, Mo., later this month.

See qualifies for a $16,000 cash incentive based on test scores and enlistment choice. He is the son of Richard and Kathleen See of Curlew, Wash.

Craig J. Craviotto, son of Harry and Theresa Craviotto of Athol, has enlisted in the Army’s delayed entry program as a radio and communications security repairer and will arrive for basic training at Fort Benning, Ga., in August.

Craviotto, a 1999 Timberlake High School graduate, qualified for a $3,000 cash incentive and has enrolled in the Army College Fund for up to $40,000 toward full-time schooling.
