If Denzel Washington wins his second acting Oscar for “The Hurricane” (he previously won a Best Supporting Actor award for 1989’s “Glory”), it will be richly deserved. Washington not only captures the emotional intensity of Rubin “Hurricane” Carter, but he buffed up physically, too. The result: a perfect impersonation.
