Julia Powers ‘Erin’

Alone among Hollywood’s giants, Julia Roberts is the only woman star who virtually guarantees a hot box office. She has plenty of help in “Erin Brockovich,” what with Steven Soderbergh’s direction, Albert Finney’s and Aaron Eckhart’s acting and a screenplay that uses a giant utility as the requisite villain. But it’s Roberts who supplies the glow.
