Folk Duo Plays Hospice Benefit

Contemporary acoustic duo Tingstad & Rumbel, frequent visitors to the Inland Northwest, return Saturday for a Sandpoint concert benefiting Bonner Community Hospice.

The Seattle-based duo features Eric Tingstad on guitar and Nancy Rumbel on oboe, playing stately, serene music influenced by a wide variety of cultures and traditions.

Saturday’s concert begins at 8 p.m. at the Panida Theater. Tickets are $12 ($10 for seniors), available in Spokane at 4,000 Holes; in Coeur d’Alene at The Long Ear; in Sandpoint at the Dolphin House, Eichardt’s, Eve’s Leaves, Java Adagio and the hospice office, and in Bonners Ferry at Bonner Books.
