Season Finale For Symphony

The Spokane Symphony ends its 1999-2000 season tonight with Gustav’s Mahler’s Symphony No. 2 (“The Resurrection”).

The 80-minute work will be performed without intermission.

Conductor Fabio Mechetti will lead more than 200 instrumentalists and singers, including soprano soloist Cynthia Kirkman, alto soloist Allison Swensen and the Symphony Chorale.

The concert begins at 8 p.m. at the Opera House.

Tickets are $14 to $33 at the symphony ticket office (624-1200) and G&B outlets (325-SEAT or 1-800-325-SEAT).
