Singer Will Perform At Church

Award-winning Christian singer Ann Downing will perform in concert at 6 p.m. Sunday at the First Church of the Nazarene, 9004 N. Country Homes Blvd.

Downing is best known for her work with her husband, Paul, in the Downings duo in the 1970s. She launched her solo career after his death in 1992.

She is also well known for her performances on Bill Gaither’s videos. She won the Dove Award for female vocalist of the year in 1970 and was inducted into the Gospel Music Hall of Fame in 1998.

Her most recent release is titled “Ocean of Grace.”

The concert is free, and all are welcome.
