Ronald and Janet Shaffer will celebrate their 50th wedding anniversary June 10 with a family gathering at Waitts Lake.

Hosts for the event will be their children and spouses: Stephen Shaffer, and Mr. and Mrs. Bradley Shaffer, all of Seattle; and Pam Shaffer, Great Falls, Mont.

The Shaffers were married June 10, 1950 in Spokane. They have six grandchildren and one great-grandchild.
