The marriage of Katy McBride to Sean Owsley was solemnized in a March 11 ceremony at Mukogawa Fort Wright Chapel.

Jim McBride and Vicki McBride, both of Spokane, are parents of the bride. Owsley is the son of Gary Owsley, Spokane, and Erika Johnson, Seattle.

A reception was at the Cameo Catering and Event Facility, Spokane. The couple are living in Knoxville and will honeymoon later.

The bride received a bachelor’s degree from Eastern Washington University and a master’s degree from Whitworth College. Before moving from Spokane she was working as a guidance counselor in the Spokane School District. A graduate of EWU, the groom is a morning news anchor for WATE-TV, the ABC affiliate in Knoxville.
