Spokane Call Center Gets Aol Account
ICT Group’s new Spokane service center has landed a contract to provide customer service for America Online.
AOL, the world’s most successful online company, recently added Spokane’s ICT office to the other service centers it operates globally.
ICT now has 138 workers handling phone calls for service at its new office in the former Lamont’s store at University City Mall.
They are ICT employees but are trained to answer any questions from AOL subscribers. AOL’s ongoing growth will increase that number, said Tom Eupizi, ICT’s Spokane operations manager.
“We have another 23 people being trained for AOL calls, and we’ll keep adding people until AOL tells us to stop,” he said.
The Economic Development Council has said the ICT office here may grow to as many as 600 employees over the next three years, serving an assortment of clients, mostly based on the West Coast.
