Analysis
Hold that youth movement talk for just a minute. It was Seattle’s veterans - Jon Kitna, Sean Dawkins, Ricky Watters, Chad Brown, Derrick Mayes - who paved the victory over Jacksonville two weeks ago. OK, we now return you to the Seahawks’ youth movement. Brock Huard is finally healthy, which sends Kitna to the bench. Huard has five games to show he’s the future at quarterback or Mike Holmgren will look elsewhere. Meanwhile, Denver has injuries galore, most notably Brian Griese and Terrell Davis. Even with those two expected to miss today’s game, the Broncos are favored. Denver trailed winless San Diego for most of the game last Sunday, before pulling out a 38-37 win. Seattle’s healthy and well-rested after a bye. Seahawks 26, Broncos 23.
