Developer Receives Planning Panel’S Ok
Developer Jim Watson received initial approval from the Post Falls’ planning and zoning commissioners Tuesday to build more than 450 lots on 112 acres in west Post Falls.
City Council members could give final approval to the two subdivisions by November, said Gary Young, planning director.
Watson, a California developer, proposed the projects two months ago. In May, Watson received permission from council members to amend the city’s comprehensive plan, allowing housing to come into Watson’s planned Expo - a 300-acre retail and industrial center.
If approved by the City Council, Watson’s Prairie Meadows subdivision will be located at Prairie Avenue and McGuire Road. The proposed Woodbridge Subdivision will be located west of Pleasant View Road and south of Seltice Way.
