Look back: DeSales won its second straight state title, Asotin eliminated Waitsburg and DeSales eliminated Asotin.

Coach’s comment: “I feel the Southeast B-11 has been the toughest league in the state the last four years and every opponent will play their best game against us,” DeSales coach Mike Spiess.

Outlook: Spiess, an assistant, replaces Kim Cox, but Cox stayed on with the rest of the staff… . Mills is hoping the state basketball title and a berth in the state baseball tournament carries over to football… . Asotin returns four all-league players… . Donnelly was all-state last year… . DeSales returns eight starters and 22 lettermen but may have a freshman at quarterback.
