Man Charged With Felony Arson

A 19-year-old Coeur d’Alene man has been arrested for allegedly setting fire to four vehicles and a carport at the St. Vincent de Paul’s transitional housing last month.

Scott Patrick Giordano was arrested by Coeur d’Alene Police on Thursday afternoon. An investigation by police and the state Fire Marshal’s Office led to his arrest, according to police reports.

Giordano has been charged with felony arson in the second degree. No bail has been set. He will appear before a Kootenai County judge today.
