Schools to sign up students
North Idaho kids with last names beginning with letters in the first half of the alphabet will get a sneak preview next week of what life will be like once school starts.
Like, in some instances, having to rise earlier.
Most North Idaho school districts have set up a schedule for student registration. Some divide students by grade. Other schools use the alphabet to split students into groups.
Many districts ask students to bring state-certified birth certificates, up-to-date immunization records and current proof of residence to registration. Some schools ask you bring more.
