Dr. Melissa H. Cessna has recently been hired at InCyte Pathology as a pathologist. Cessna is a 1999 graduate of the University of New Mexico and completed her internship and residency at the University of Utah Health Sciences Center in 2003. She has recently been accepted for membership in the Spokane County Medical Society.
ALSC Architects has recently hired Joanne Wilkinson. Wilkinson earned a Bachelor of Architecture at Washington State University and studied design at Spokane Falls Community College. She has 18 years of experience in interior design and architecture.
Heidi Plumb has recently been hired as an interior designer at ALSC Architects. Plumb is a graduate of Brigham Young University and has three years of experience designing interiors of hospitals, banks, offices and schools.
Blue Water Technologies has recently hired Michael Camin as an agricultural engineer. His responsibilities will include assisting with the design, development, implementation and analysis of the company’s contaminant removal products and systems. He was previously with Basic American Foods in Blackfoot, Idaho.
Rebecca Rule has recently been hired as a biological systems engineer at Blue Water Technologies. She received her bachelor’s degree in biological systems engineering from the University of Idaho in May, 2004 and will be responsible for field research and pilot study operation.
Blue Water Technologies has recently hired Steve Troyer as a field technician. He has 15 years of experience in the construction industry and will be responsible for mobilizing pilot studies at municipal wastewater plants and industrial dischargers.

He is a 1988 graduate of the University of Washington, completed his internship at Darnall Army Community Hospital in 1989, and his residency at the University of Washington in 2000. Fallon has recently been accepted for membership in the Spokane County Medical Society.

She is a 2001 graduate of the University of Washington and completed her internship and residency at Family Medicine Spokane earlier this year. Bergum has been accepted for membership in the Spokane County Medical Society.

She is a 1992 graduate of the University of Davila in Bucharest, completed her internship at the University of Tennessee in 1997, and her residency at Texas Tech University in 1999. Andronic has recently been accepted for membership in the Spokane County Medical Society.
Magner Sanborn Renouard Inc. has recently hired Deanna Hildenbrand as an account supervisor. She has 10 years of public relations, marketing and advertising experience and has worked in both public and private corporations.
Dr. Ronald Hardy has recently been hired at Holy Family Hospital as an obstetrician and gynecologist at the North Spokane Women’s Clinic. He received his medical degree from the University of Utah, Salt Lake City and completed his residency at Riverside Methodist Hospital in Columbus, Ohio.
Gonzaga University has recently hired David Whitfield as a tenure track assistant professor in the doctoral program in leadership studies. Whitfield completed his doctorate at the University of San Francisco and is published widely.
Eric G. Klepfer has recently been hired at Mines Management Inc. as vice president of operations. Klepfer has more than 22 years of mining experience and has worked with Coeur d’Alene Mines, Newmont Gold Co. and Placer Dome.

Bruce E. Blackmer of Northwest Architectural Company has recently received the Richard Upjohn Medal from the American Institute of Architects. This award was named for the first president of the AIA and is awarded to those for extraordinary national leadership to the institute.
USPins.com has recently received the 2004 E-mail Best Practices Award from Arial Software. The software company secretly audited the e-mail subscription practices of 1,057 companies and found that only 65 of them were in compliance with the federal CAN-SPAM Act. USPins.com specializes in designing and manufacturing custom lapel pins, challenge coins and other corporate and government adornments.
Cheleena Frye, the closing supervisor at the Home Loan Center at American West Bank, has recently earned the designation of graduate of mortgage lending by the Institute of Mortgage Lending.
Soroptimist International of the Americas has recently awarded SI of Coeur d’Alene with the Human Rights for Women/Girls Award for their creation and support of the Soroptimist Children’s Center, which provides support to children of domestic violence. In Greek, the word soroptimist means “best for women.”

Stacie Jones of Inland Northwest Health Services has recently been promoted to the position of internal communications and branding coordinator. She has been with INHS for two years.
Inland Northwest Health Services has recently promoted Ryan Moede to the position of media relations and Web development coordinator. A recent graduate of Whitworth University, Moede takes this position after an internship at INHS.
Amanda Geroux of Sterling Savings Bank has recently been promoted to the position of vice president of the bank. She has been with Sterling since 1997 and has worked as a credit support specialist, loan processor, compliance specialist/technical writer, policies and procedures administrator and assistant vice president.
PHILANTHROPY
The Washington State Trauma Care Fund, a division of the Department of Health, recently granted $16,000 to Northwest MedStar. A division of Inland Northwest Health Services, Northwest MedStar will use the funds to donate 150 global positioning satellite units to 49 public safety agencies in eastern Washington.
