Kings win at buzzer
Chris Webber took an inbounds pass from Mike Bibby and hit a 3-pointer at the buzzer to give the Sacramento Kings an 89-86 victory over the Milwaukee Bucks on Tuesday night in Milwaukee.
Bibby had 27 points and Webber finished with 23 for the Kings, who won for the 14th time in 16 games. Sacramento is 8-0 against the Eastern Conference this season. Desmond Mason had 23 points and Michael Redd added 20 for the Bucks, who have lost 12 of 15.
Michael James made 1 of 2 from the free-throw line with 4.5 seconds left after being fouled by Webber to tie the game at 86. Bibby and Webber then connected on the game-winning shot.
Timberwolves 100, Trail Blazers 89: At Minneapolis, Wally Szczerbiak scored a season-high 28 points, including the 5,000th of his career, to lead Minnesota to a victory over Portland. Kevin Garnett had 19 points and 19 rebounds for Minnesota, which won for the eighth time in 10 games. Minnesota’s Sam Cassell had 19 points and 13 assists in coach Flip Saunders’ 400th career victory.
Pacers 108, Hawks 97 (OT): At Atlanta, Jamaal Tinsley scored a season-high 29 points as Indiana snapped a seven-game losing streak, beating Atlanta in overtime. Fred Jones scored 21 and Reggie Miller added 19 for Indiana, which ended its longest losing streak since 1993. Tinsley was back in the lineup after missing three games with a sprained ankle.
76ers 110, Nuggets 102: At Philadelphia, Allen Iverson had 31 points and 10 rebounds, and reserve Willie Green scored all of his season-high 17 points in the final 16 minutes, helping Philadelphia overcome an 18-point second-half deficit in a victory over Denver.
Bobcats 94, Hornets 93 (OT): At Charlotte, N.C., rookie Emeka Okafor hit two free throws with 5 seconds left in overtime and Junior Harrington’s 20-footer fell off the rim as Charlotte defeated New Orleans.
Knicks 87, Nets 79: At East Rutherford, N.J., Jamal Crawford scored 30 points in a game otherwise defined by offensive ineptitude, such as victorious New York holding New Jersey without a basket for 15 minutes.
Warriors 111, Mavericks 107: At Dallas, Clifford Robinson scored a season-high 25 points, Jason Richardson had a key follow dunk in the final minute and Golden State snapped a 12-game losing streak against Dallas.
Jazz 93, Clippers 91: At Salt Lake City, Mehmet Okur scored 19 points, hitting three free throws in the final 9 seconds as Utah held off Los Angeles.

New Orleans guard Alex Garcia will miss the rest of the season because of a torn knee ligament. … Charlotte activated forward Theron Smith and placed forward Tamar Slay on the injured list. … Memphis reserve guard Antonio Burks will be sidelined at least six weeks with a broken right pinkie finger. … Seven-time NBA rebounding champion Dennis Rodman signed to play two games in January with the Long Beach Jam of the American Basketball Association after being granted his release by the league’s Orange County Crush. Rodman will play home games Jan. 23 against Utah and Jan. 28 against Tijuana.
