Candy Cane Crawl – Explore downtown Spokane with a walk sponsored by the Spokane Parks and Recreation Department, Friday, 7-9 p.m. Participants will also hand out candy canes to selected downtown apartments and agencies. Dachshund Club of Spokane Holiday Party – Saturday, 4 p.m., at the Lilac City Dog Training Club, 1612 E. Houston. Includes pot luck dinner, dog games, wiener dog races, intro to agility dog classes, holiday photos with pets, and more. Dachshund Rescue Northwest and other area shelters will be have pets available for adoption. Donations will be accepted; admission is by potluck dish and serving settings.
