Why run it up?
University 93, Rogers 27.
The result of this (Tuesday girls basketball) game reminds me of a retired Spokane Valley coach who ran up the score anytime he could. Since the outcome of this game was decided in the first quarter, I don’t understand why the scoreboard kept lighting up.
As a former coach, I know – and so do you, (U-Hi) coach – that this didn’t have to happen. To me, the real winners were the Rogers Pirates, who had the integrity to hang in until the final buzzer went off. I question the integrity and the leadership of this (U-Hi) basketball program.
