Turiaf turns other ankle, questionable tonight

The Spokesman-Review

OKLAHOMA CITY – Ronny Turiaf’s injury situation has taken a new twist.

Gonzaga’s 6-foot-10 senior co-captain and leading scorer, who has been hobbled the past two games by a sprained left ankle, turned his right ankle during a Christmas Day practice and is listed as questionable for tonight’s game against third-ranked Oklahoma State in the All-College Classic at Ford Center.

Turiaf, who is averaging 20.0 points and 9.3 rebounds for the 12th-ranked Zags, practiced Monday but did not participate in all drills and is not expected to be at full strength for tonight’s game.

“He’ll be limited, if he does play,” said Bulldogs coach Mark Few.
