Lily Open House – Daily from 8 a.m.-5 p.m. through Aug. 1, at The Fruitful Acre Daylily Farm, 3391 Highway 25 North, just seven miles south of Northport at the intersection of Highway 25 and Onion Creek Road. U-Pick Lavender Weekends – Will be held today through Sunday, and next Friday-Aug. 1, from 9 a.m.-5 p.m. at Leisure Lavender Farm, 3529 N. Lynden in Otis Orchards. Iris Rhizome Sale – Town and Country Iris Society will hold the sale on Saturday at 9 a.m. at Green Thumb Nursery, 16816 E. Sprague. Many different sizes and types priced at $1 or below. Call 255-9615.

Garden Tour and Art Show – Gardeners, musicians and artists will greet you on a tour of five gardens in Liberty Lake and surrounding communities on July 31 from 10 a.m.-4 p.m. Tickets are $6 for the tour or $10 for the tour and a boat ride around the lake. Town and Country Iris Society – Meets first Friday of the month at 7 p.m. at the Spokane Valley Library. The next meeting will be Aug. 6. For more information, call 255-9615.

Sundays in the Garden series - The next event, “History and Tour of Duncan Garden” by Steve Nokes, will be Aug. 8 at 2 p.m. in Manito Park’s Manito Meeting Room, east of Gaiser Conservatory. Art in the Garden – Eighth annual 2004 Cherry Blossoms art show and botanical garden, Aug. 12-14, 9 a.m.-4 p.m., Rosin Gardens, 1015 Mingo Mountain Road, Kettle Falls. Featuring over 300 varieties of plants all labeled with common and botanical names, along with pressed floral artwork of Cherry Rosin.
