Jefferson Street Christian Church, 1201 W. Spofford Ave., will hold a rummage sale and bake sale Friday and next Saturday.

The sale will take place at the church from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. Call 327-6501 for more information.

Spokane Christian Singles event

The Spokane Christian Singles are inviting singles in their 20s, 30s and 40s for a barbecue and potluck on Friday.

The event will be held at Big Trout Lodge, 22809 E. Country Vista Drive, Spokane Valley, beginning at 6 p.m. Admission is free; participants are asked to bring their own meat to grill and a dish to share.
