Dog Training Classes – Mandatory registration meeting for training classes through Spokane Dog Training Club Inc., June 16, 7 p.m., 2620 N. Locust Road. Instruction includes puppy preschool, puppy kindergarten, home companion, competition obedience, jumping, rally, agility, flyball, herding and tracking. Railroad History Class Bike Tour – Charles Mutschler, Eastern Washington train historian, will lead a bike tour on June 19 along the former rail line that runs through Turnbull Wildlife Refuge, Cheney. Family Identification Plan – Presented by COPS Northwest, offers IDs for all children and other family members at risk. ID packets are available at COPS Northwest on the first Saturday of every month from 10 a.m. to noon. Participants will receive a computer disk copy of their photo and a fingerprint card.
