Looking back Blakely Park in 1931
Playtime in the park
These children were photographed in 1931 in Blakely Park on Upriver Drive. The park was near Upriver Dam, which would later be in 1936. The bridge in the background was known as The Bridge of Contentment. The park was built by Henry M. Blakely at a personal cost of more than $100,000, and was used by residents of the Upriver area.
