“Discover New Trails at Your Library” – from 1:30-3 p.m. Wednesday at the Post Falls Library, 821 Spokane St. Beth Paragamian, wildlife educator, will amaze the kids with live owls, preserved critters, pelt and pictures of animals that Lewis and Clark saw on their westward journey. “The Celluloid Closet” – The documentary about how gays and lesbians are depicted in the movies from silent film days until present, will be shown Wednesday at 7:30 p.m. at the Panida Theater in Sandpoint. Public Meeting on Fernan Lake Road Safety Improvement Project – Thursday from 4:30-7:30 p.m. at Fernan Elementary School, 520 N. 21st St. Reconstruction is proposed for five miles of Fernan Lake Road along Fernan Lake the lower Fernan Creek Valley.
