“ Bonsai Bistro will open Wednesday in downtown Coeur d’Alene. Offering a variety of Asian foods, the 9,700-square-foot, three-level restaurant will employ about 85 people and seat 200 customers. It features a bonsai theme with a Japanese garden and waterfall and views of Lake Coeur d’Alene. “ Onsite equipment repair is the work of Jimmy Lewis of Emsar Inland Northwest at 3655 Government Way. Standing for Equipment Management Service and Repair, Emsar employees primarily work on medical equipment. Originally from Lake Charles, La., Lewis came through North Idaho on business in 1994 and decided he “needed to live here,” which he did by moving here eight years ago. Phone (800) 990-0699.
