Idaho Writers League – meets from 9 a.m.-noon the second Wednesday of month at the Jewett House, 1501 E. Lakeshore in Coeur d’Alene. Information: 762-4081.

Kiwanis Club of the Idaho Panhandle – meets at 7 a.m. Wednesdays at the Lake City Senior Center, 1916 Lakewood Drive. Information: 765-2020.

Kootenai County Republican Central Committee – meets at 7 p.m. the third Tuesday of every month, Windermere Building, 1000 Northwest Blvd., lower section, Coeur d’Alene. For more information: 765-8259.

Kootenai Democratic Club – meets at noon for lunch Fridays at the Iron Horse Restaurant, 407 Sherman Ave. Information: 667-5824.
