Davenport 3rd with 11-10 win

YAKIMA – Luke Rodenbough singled in Michael DeMar in the bottom of the sixth inning to lift the Davenport Gorillas to a wild 11-10 victory over theMossyrock Vikings in the consolation finals of the State B baseball tournament Saturday.

Rodenbough finished 3 for 4 with three RBIs for third-place Davenport.

Tyson Linstrum went the distance on the mound for the Gorillas to pick up his 10th win of the season. Linstrum helped himself out at the plate with a pair of hits in three trips and three RBIs.

Davenport lost to DeSales 13-5 in the semifinals.

DeSales crushed Lake Quinalt 18-1 in the championship game.
