Wrong caption in Valley edition

A front-page photo caption was incorrect in Sunday’s Valley edition due to an editing error. The caption should have read, “Student Republicans Drew Maffel and Tom Pearson listen as Democrat McKenze Sigler answers a question about gay marriage.”

Valley Council agenda clarified

The Spokane Valley calendar Monday listed incorrect agenda items for tonight’s City Council meeting. Topics include the proposed utility tax, the proposed increase in stormwater fees, Valleyfest and the library contract. Wastewater and snow-handling won’t be discussed.

It was George Davis, not Bob

George Davis was misidentified as Bob Davis in a Halloween photo caption in Saturday’s Region section due to a photographer’s error. The Lilac Blind Association on Howard in downtown Spokane was also misidentified.

Tennis Fest is on Fourth Ave.

The location for Tennis Fest 2004 to be held Saturday was listed incorrectly in Monday’s Kids’ Corner calendar in IN Life. The correct location is the Spokane Athletic Club, 5900 E. Fourth Ave.
