Ailing Orton rallies Purdue over Buckeyes
After sitting for the first 3 1/2 quarters, Kyle Orton threw a 14-yard touchdown pass to Dustin Keller with 2 minutes, 17 seconds to play to lift Purdue (6-4, 3-4 Big Ten) to a 24-17 victory over Ohio State (6-4, 3-4) on Saturday in West Lafayette, Ind. Orton, who started the game on the bench with a hip injury, was inserted into the lineup in the fourth quarter after starter Brandon Kirsch threw an interception. Playing for the first time in more than two games, Orton entered the huddle for his second series with the game tied at 17 and drove the Boilermakers 80 yards in eight plays to snap their four-game losing streak. The senior completed all six of his passes for 51 yards.

North Carolina 31, Wake Forest 24: At Winston-Salem, N.C., Darian Durant threw a 45-yard touchdown pass to Jesse Holley in the final minute, helping the Tar Heels (5-5, 4-3 ACC) beat the Demon Deacons (4-5, 1-5).

Tulane 45, Army 31: At New Orleans, Matt Forte had 283 total yards and four touchdowns to help the Green Wave (4-5, 2-4 CUSA) overcome an injury to starting quarterback Lester Ricard in a victory over the Black Knights (2-7, 2-5).
South Florida 41, East Carolina 17: At Tampa, Fla., Andre Hall ran for a game-high 161 yards and added a touchdown as the Bulls (4-4, 3-3 CUSA) routed the Pirates (2-7, 2-5).
