WMU fires Darnell

KALAMAZOO, Mich. – Football coach Gary Darnell was fired Sunday by Western Michigan. “For the benefit of our student-athletes and fans, we simply cannot afford another year of decline … ,” said Kathy Beauregard, the school’s Director of Intercollegiate Athletics.
