Money management has become a higher priority among parents, according to a new Visa USA survey. Eighty-five percent of 1,000 parents of high school students said they plan to have the money talk ahead of other important topics such as drugs (80 percent) and sex (79 percent). One banker advises that financial fundamentals should be imparted at home because the majority of high school students receive no personal finance instruction in class.
