Ex-NIC basketball player Colbert joins team as assistant coach

Marsell Colbert has joined the North Idaho College men’s basketball program as an assistant coach.

Colbert, 34, was the co-head boys basketball coach at Post Falls Christian Academy. Colbert was a combination guard/forward at NIC in 1989-90.

“I’m thankful for the opportunity,” Colbert said. “I’m excited and looking forward to getting on board.”

Colbert joins Corey Symons on interim head coach Jared Phay’s staff.
