A talking cat? Shelter workers swear that this fluffy feline carries on full conversations in meows. Perhaps she’s discussing the advantages of a permanent home since she’s the Kootenai Humane Society’s longest-staying resident. The green-eyed beauty arrived as a stray in January. Buffy is a mellow, though loquacious, soul who doesn’t ask for much besides a comfy spot to rest. Her old joints ache, but she enjoys company and will reprimand with a gentle bop to your hand if she’s not had enough petting. Buffy isn’t crazy about other cats, but can coexist as long as they keep their paws off of her favorite napping spot. If you’d like to exchange pleasantries with Buffy, visit 11650 N.
