CdA gains 600 yards in victory

MISSOULA – Gabe Le rushed for 166 yards on 17 carries, and Kevin Ah-Hi added 121 yards on the ground as Coeur d’Alene routed Sentinel (Mont.) 49-18 in a non-conference high school football game.

Quarterback Max Lyons of the Vikings (5-2) completed 15 of 26 passes for 269 yards and three touchdowns, one to Ah-Hi.

Ah-Hi also rushed for two scores. Le scored the game’s first touchdown on a 31-yard run.

The Vikings rushed for 332 yards on 45 carries, an average of 7.4 yards an attempt. Coeur d’Alene out-gained the Spartans 600-350.

CdA jumped to a 21-6 halftime. The Vikings pushed the advantage to as large as 42-6 in the fourth quarter.
