Hilton offering Dell discount to its HHonors members

Bargains may take the form of something extra. Among them:

• To celebrate expanded availability of wireless Internet access at its properties, Hilton offers Hilton HHonors members who book online and complete one stay by Dec. 15 a $100 discount on a Dell Inspiron notebook. Details: www.hiltonhhonors.com/centrino.

• Outrigger Hotels & Resorts in Hawaii (800-688-7444; www.outrigger.com) have a Free Fuel & Fun special for guests staying at any of their 11 condominium properties through Dec. 21. Book three nights and receive a certificate valid for up to $25 in free gas when renting from Dollar, whose rates start at $27 a day when you stay at an Outrigger property. You also get a 35 percent room discount under the Best Value program (rates from $120 a night).

• Every third night’s free at Maui’s luxurious Grand Wailea Resort (800-888-6100; www.grandwailearesort.com). Through Nov. 18, the special effectively lowers the cost of a three-night stay to $310 per night.

• Save $20 a night in London just for being an American. Uptown Reservations (800-872-2632; www.uptownres.co.uk) is offering the discount on stays at its private London residences. With the discount, nightly rates for two begin at about $160, which includes breakfast. The homes are in some of central London’s nicest neighborhoods.

• Chocolate lovers can stay at Manhattan’s Washington Square Hotel from $190 a night during the seventh annual Chocolate Show ( www.chocolateshow.com) Nov. 11-14. • Avis Rent A Car (800-722-5909; www.avis.com) has a Drive Free promotion that offers a free weekend rental with three paid rentals through Dec. 16. All rentals during the promotion period count. The free weekend is valid on rentals until May 15.
