Agnes (Ramstedt) Hawkins
Coeur d’Alene
Memorial service for Agnes (Ramstedt) Hawkins, 94, will be Friday at 1 p.m. at Yates Funeral Home, Hayden Chapel, with a reception to follow at Yates Hayden Chapel Gathering Center. Burial will be at Forest Cemetery in Coeur d’Alene.
Mrs. Hawkins, who was born in Moscow, died Thursday.
She grew up in Moscow and earned a music degree from the University of Idaho, where she was one of the four founders of the Vandaleers.
While attending college she met her future husband, William S. Hawkins. They were married in 1934.
The couple lived in Coeur d’Alene and raised their family.
She often performed as a soloist and directed church choirs for more than 55 years. She was involved with choruses from Camp Fire Girls, Boy Scouts, Job’s Daughters, deMolay, Eastern Star and the Elks Lodge. She also was involved in various civic activities and enjoyed traveling.
Her husband preceded her in death.
Survivors include a son, Jim Hawkins of Boise; two daughters, Ruthanna Rauer of Spokane and Willa Mae Kemp of Sherwood, Ore.; seven grandchildren and 12 great-grandchildren.

Gail David
Spokane
Memorial service for Gail S. David, 87, will be Tuesday at 11 a.m. at Manito United Methodist Church. Hazen and Jaeger Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
Mr. David, a 59-year resident of Spokane, died Wednesday. He was born in South Sioux City, Neb.
In 1942 he married Cleo Endreson in Bremerton. He served in the Army during World War II.
He worked as a truck driver for many companies in Spokane and was a member of the Teamsters Union.
He was a longtime member of Manito United Methodist Church.
Survivors include his wife; two daughters, Lavonne Sanders of Ritzville, Wash., and Mellody Descoteaux of Medical Lake; a sister, Mava Shepherd of Spokane; and two granddaughters.
Henry Gallagher
Springdale, Wash.
Vigil for Henry F. “Hank” Gallagher, 63, will be today at 7 p.m. at St. Ann’s Catholic Church. Funeral Mass will be Tuesday at 10 a.m. at the church. Hennessey-Smith Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
Mr. Gallagher, a longtime resident of the Spokane area, died Thursday. He was born in Bismarck, N.D.
He was an electrician for a commercial electric company.
Survivors include his wife, Mary; a son, Aaron Gallagher of Spokane; three daughters, Cathy Pratt and Debbie Landry, both of Medical Lake, and Patty Wines of Springdale; his mother, Edna Gallagher of Spokane; a brother, Leo Gallagher of Arizona; nine grandchildren and two great-grandchildren. Memorial contributions may be made to Cancer Care Northwest.
Norvin Wroughton
Spokane
No service will be held for Norvin “Norv” Wroughton, 85, at his request. Hazen and Jaeger Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
Mr. Wroughton died Wednesday.
He was born in Boise and grew up in Owyhee County. He entered the military at age 17 and served in World War II and the Korean and Vietnam wars. He retired from the Air Force as a tech sergeant.
Mr. Wroughton retired from Washington Water Power in the 1970s.
He enjoyed traveling with his wife and had lived at Maplewood Gardens for the past five years.
His wife of 30 years, Earla, died in 1999.
Survivors include a daughter, Marie Cordalis, and a son, Steven Wroughton, both of Spokane.
Evelyn (Hurry) Ridnour
Spokane
Memorial service for Evelyn Louise (Hurry) Ridnour, 78, was Saturday at Thornhill Valley Funeral Home.
Mrs. Ridnour, who was born in Spokane, died Wednesday.
She attended Greenacres Elementary School and Central Valley High School, and retired from Cenex as a data entry operator.
She was preceded in death by her former husband, Harold Ridnour.
Survivors include a son, Stephen Ridnour of Federal Way; a sister, Joan Goodwin of Yakima; two brothers, Glenn Hurry of Otis Orchards and Robert Hurry of Kirkland; and two grandsons.
