BSU gets grant to help workers
BOISE – A $2.3 million federal grant will enable Boise State University to help seasonal and migrant workers and their families get high school equivalency or General Educational Development certificates.
The five-year grant will extend the Boise State program that has provided educational services to more than 1,000 migrant workers and their children in the past decade.
They receive free instruction and assessments and educational material as well as travel or residence hall expenses.
