Jillian Cerna exchanged wedding vows with Richard Thomas in a July 24 ceremony at Coch Castle, Cardiff.

The bride is the daughter of Luis and Diane Cerna, Spokane. Russell and Valerie Thomas, Ebbw Vale, Wales, are the parents of the groom.

A reception at The DeCourcey’s, Cardiff, followed the ceremony. A reception also was held in August at The Red Lion Hotel, Spokane Valley. The couple are living in Cardiff after a honeymoon in Amsterdam, Las Vegas, Cancun and Playa del Carmen, Mexico.

The bride is a graduate of the University of Wales Institute with a degree in broadcast media and popular culture. The groom, a graduate of Cardiff University, is a teacher at Whitchurch High School and the lead guitarist and singer for a Welsh band.
