Christian singer to perform

Post Falls Church of the Nazarene, 308 W. 12th, Post Falls, is hosting Lonnie Swonger, a Christian comedian, singer and artist.

Swonger will perform Sunday at 6 p.m. A free-will offering will be taken.

Outdoor concert

Colbert Presbyterian Church, 4211 E. Colbert Road, is hosting the band, Chutzpah, Friday at 7 p.m. in the pavilion next to the church.

The audience should bring lawn chairs, blankets, and picnic baskets.

Story time

The Christian Life Bookstore, 510 E. Francis Ave., is offering kids story times every Saturday this month at 2 p.m.

Children ages 5 through 12 are invited to listen to a reading of a short story, refreshments, door prizes and giveaways, and all participating kids will receive a 20 percent discount on Junior Readers and children’s books.

Hamblen Park Presbyterian Church, 4102 S. Crestline St., is inviting all ninth- through 12th-graders to watch movies in the courtyard or in the youth room Monday nights from 8 to 10 p.m. through the rest of this month, .

Vacation Bible school

Post Falls Church of the Nazarene, 308 W. 12th Ave., Post Falls, is offering J-Force Vacation Bible School Monday through Friday .

Registration begins at 8:45 a.m. Monday for kids in kindergarten through the sixth grade. The classes will be from 9 a.m. to noon for the rest of the week.
