CdA Triathlon runs on Sunday

The 22nd annual Coeur d’Alene Triathlon and third annual Coeur d’Alene Duathlon will be held Sunday.

Racers will swim a triangular course starting and finishing at the North Idaho College beach before leaving on a 40-mile bike ride and finishing with a 10-kilometer run that goes around Tubbs Hill and finishes at NIC.

The triathlon features a wave start with the first competitors going out at 7 a.m. The duathlon is a mass start shortly thereafter. Prizes are awarded in a variety of divisions.
