Deputies find assault suspect in CdA attic

Kootenai County sheriff’s deputies found an assault suspect hiding in the attic of a Coeur d’Alene house, a day after dogs lost track of him.

William T. Sizemore, 29, was booked into the Kootenai County jail Thursday on charges of aggravated battery, aggravated assault, second degree kidnapping and strangulation.

Deputies had been searching for Sizemore for his involvement in a domestic dispute that occurred Wednesday and Thursday in the Beauty Creek area.

Sheriff’s deputies and Coeur d’Alene police went to a home Thursday evening, and after getting permission to enter, used a dog to find Sizemore in the attic.
