Matt Palmer hit four shots from 3-point range and finished with 21 points as Coeur d’Alene went 11 for 19 from behind the arc in a 68-38 non-league boys win over Meridian Saturday in Boise.
John Latorre also hit three 3-pointers and had 17 points as the Vikings (1-2) forced 18 Meridian turnovers to just six for Coeur d’Alene.
In other non-league action, Nick Barklay went 14 for 14 from the free-throw line and finished with 16 points as Centennial upended Lake City (1-2) 53-46 in Boise.
