Benefit event – Christian Youth Theater is hosting a benefit to raise money to help replace costumes and sets lost in a recent fire, 6 p.m. Wednesday at the Met downtown. The evening, titled “Encore, Encore! The Stars are Out Tonight,” showcases numbers from last season’s shows and live and silent auctions. Tickets are $20; call 487-6540 for reservations.
