A quote in your sports section was of concern. The quote? After Gonzaga’s teenagers and young men did not play to expectations (against EWU), coach (Mark) Few stated, “Our staff has done everything they could, outside of physically beating them with a bat, which is probably what they deserve. But in this day and age, you can’t do that.”

What they deserve? Hey, coach, in what day and age would you beat them over a basketball game? Few, a class individual, has done too much good for the community and children to be spouting forth abusive remarks.
