NC cures curse, wears Shoes

North Central, with its “Curse of the Missing Shoe” pirate theme, outspirited Shadle Park’s “Greased Lightning – Shadle is the Word” to regain the Groovy Shoes Thursday after a year’s absence.

The 15th spirit competition played out in front of 4,342 spectators in the Spokane Arena. Shadle won both basketball games.
