The Grizzlies’ Mike Miller hit a 3-pointer with 9.8 seconds left to tie it at 88 before Davis hit an open jumper, but Miller’s 3-point shot fell short at the buzzer.

James unsure about dunk contest

Phoenix Suns forward Amare Stoudemire will take part in Saturday’s NBA slam dunk contest during All-Star weekend, but LeBron James is still making up his mind.

James, a starter for the Eastern Conference in Sunday’s All-Star game, was not one of the four players who committed to compete in the contest. He has a standing invitation from the NBA, but said he might take until Friday to decide.
