Travis Niesen scored 17 of his 23 points in the second half as Santa Clara beat Loyola Marymount at Santa Clara, Calif. Doron Perkins added 21 points and 10 rebounds as the Broncos won for just the second time in 12 games when trailing at halftime. … Floyd North scored 22 points to lead San Diego to a decisive victory at Portland. Brandon Gay finished with 19 points and hit all eight of his shot attempts for the Toreros. … Paul Marigney had a season-high 32 points in leading Saint Mary’s to a victory over Pepperdine at Moraga, Calif. The Gaels, playing their final home game of the season, wound up 15-1 at home – the best home record and most home wins in school history.
