SCT presents ‘Henry and Ramona’
The Spokane Children’s Theatre brings Beverly Cleary’s characters to life in “Henry and Ramona” beginning Saturday.
Henry Huggins, Beezus, Ribsy and Ramona will all appear in this story, adapted from Cleary’s series, about Henry’s attempt to have a paper route. Pesky kindergartner Ramona turns out to be no help at all.
Jacob Newell and Hannah Lee play the title characters. Judy Brender is the director.
“Henry and Ramona” opens Saturday at 10 a.m. and 1 p.m. and continues Sunday at 7 p.m.; Jan. 29 at 10 a.m. and 1 and 4 p.m.; Jan. 30 at 7 p.m.; Feb. 5 at 10 a.m. and 1 and 4 p.m.; and Feb. 6 at 1 and 4 p.m.
