Clearing for aluminum plant

In 1941 this bulldozer attracted a crowd of people as it knocked down trees at the beginning of construction of the $9 million aluminum plant north of Mead, later to be owned by Kaiser Aluminum. Frank Skene was at the controls of the dozer.
